SENIOR NAVIGATORS:
The Senior Navigators is for boys and girls age 11-18 and advancements through the levels are based on experience and knowledge. Through camping trips, hiking adventures, games and activities, the children build self esteem, respect for others, and independence. The children take more control in their activities and leadership over each other through experiential education.
PILOT:
This is the third level for the Senior Navigators. At this level the children start to find their own paths and start to pick some of their own curriculum from a list of achievement awards*. We build on the previous levels with more advanced first aid, survival skills, and leadership skills. The children begin to become the assistant to the leaders, and help organize the overnight camping trips.
*Achievement Awards:
These awards represent intensive study and mastery of specific skills such as Sailing, Ecology, Hiking, Cooking, First Aid, Biking, Civic Pride, and many others.
